Job Description:
Summary
Plans and schedules hourly craftspersons to perform work requested
on Maintenance Repair Orders, Preventive Maintenance, maintenance
work orders, and equipment engineering work orders.Duties and
Responsibilities
- Reviews Maintenance Repair Orders to determine if the scope of
work required falls under the definition of maintenance and repair,
preventive or predictive maintenance, or new
construction/modification.
- Separates orders for new construction/modification and forwards
them to the appropriate department.
- Schedules equipment engineering work orders for machine
capability studies and machine tool overhauls, or modifications
resulting from studies.
- Plans and schedules work orders for maintenance work request,
preventive maintenance work orders, and equipment engineering work
orders for maintenance work centers.
- Scopes jobs to determine levels of priority, potential hazards,
and materials needed; applies time standards.
- Provides safety plans, hour estimates, and identifies hazards
and controls on all work orders.
- Orders needed parts from Stores and from outside vendors when
necessary.
- Schedules hourly craftspersons to perform work requested on
Maintenance Repair Orders, Preventive Maintenance, maintenance work
orders, and equipment engineering work orders based on time
standards.
- Service contract administration including supporting scope
development, supports proposal of contract documentation and
provides oversight of service contractors.
- Performs data entry and completes required reports, including
Maintenance Repair Orders and work order computer entries and
close-outs, error reports, daily work reports, and Maintenance
Repair Orders status reports.
- Conducts activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in
accordance with established HS&E requirements to ensure the
protection of employees, the public, and the environment.
- Takes actions necessary to stop work when an unsafe condition
or action is identified. Every employee has the right and
responsibility to stop work when unsafe conditions or actions are
identified.You Must Have
- 5+ years, in planning and performing preventative maintenance
and maintenance of facilities and/or equipment, experience in order
and purchasing materials.
- 1+ years of general knowledge of computers (Microsoft office
suites).
- Current Q clearance or ability to obtaining a Q clearance.
- 1+ years experience reading drawings, layouts, and schematicsWe
