This role is crucial to ensuring the maintenance and safety of our community facilities, providing residents with a clean, functional, and pleasant living environment. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other essential facilities. - Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and management, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of issues. - Identify and repair minor and major building issues, including carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and communicate updates effectively to management. - Assist in preparing units for new move-ins, ensuring they meet our high standards of readiness and cleanliness. - Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for self and others. - Collaborate with third-party vendors and contractors as needed for specialized maintenance or repairs. - Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on industry best practices and building technologies. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or trade certifications preferred. - Previous experience in maintenance or a related field, ideally within a residential community or similar environment. - Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently or as part of a team. - Valid driver's license and the ability to travel locally as needed. - Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work in various environmental conditions.
