Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time occupational therapist position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Edgewood, NM. This contract role runs through the current school year, concluding on 5/29/2026. The position offers the opportunity to work with diverse student populations, including those in elementary, high school, and autism-based programs. Responsibilities include providing both direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students across multiple schools. The caseload involves itinerant work between two elementary schools, each with approximately 11-12 students, and one high school serving 17-18 students. Additional support is provided to an off-campus autism district program. Collaboration and consultation with teachers are key components of the role to enhance student outcomes. Qualifications and Desired Experience: - Valid occupational therapy license required. - Experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred. - Ability to manage an itinerant caseload effectively. - Skills in delivering direct and indirect services, including teacher consultations. - Familiarity with autism support programs is a plus. - Strong communication and organizational skills.
