Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity
for an Occupational Therapist experienced in school-based settings
is available in Rio Rancho, NM, serving K-12 students under a
comprehensive contract through the school year. This role focuses
on providing targeted therapy services within multiple elementary
and high school environments, supporting students with diverse
needs, including those in an Autism-based district program. Key
Responsibilities: - Deliver direct and indirect Occupational
Therapy services to students across two elementary schools and one
high school. - Manage caseloads consisting of approximately 11-12
elementary students per school and 17-18 high school students. -
Provide specialized support and consultation to teachers, enhancing
strategies for student engagement and success. - Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams to ensure individualized service plans
align with student needs. - Participate in the off-campus
Autism-based program, promoting inclusive educational practices.
Desired Qualifications and Experience: - Valid and current
Occupational Therapy license. - Demonstrated experience in
school-based therapy, particularly within K-12 environments. -
Expertise in working with students on the autism spectrum is highly
advantageous. - Ability to effectively consult and collaborate with
educational staff and families. - Strong organizational and
