Job Description:
The job description of an oilfield pumper is to assure that
wellheads located in fields across a wide area are properly
maintained and working efficiently. Pumpers log data, check and
test gauges and perform minor repairs. 8 years of experience. Â
Night operations 6pm to 6am and a 10/4 schedule. Description: â?¢
Provide lease surveillance of operated properties to assure that
the wells are producing at maximum rates allowed and related
equipment and facilities are operating safely and efficiently â?¢
Accurately measure and report daily production â?¢ Prepare daily
and monthly production reports â?¢ Inspect facilities routinely for
operational safety and environmental compliance â?¢ Take fluid
levels and well tests at least twice monthly and calculate downhole
pump efficiency â?¢ Accurately gauge production tanks on a daily
basis â?¢ Report complete production data in TOW â?¢ Troubleshoot
and repair day-to-day operational issues â?¢ Keep accurate seal
records â?¢ Review amp readings to ensure pump units are in balance
â?¢ Ensure that all contractors and Corporation personnel follow
safety requirements and procedures â?¢ Develop an awareness to look
for ways to optimize production â?¢ Track goals and plans for
properties using Scout on a monthly basis â?¢ Witness sales of oil
and condensate (LACT meter proving's, Crude Transfer tickets) â?¢
Correct any unsafe conditions or practices immediately upon
recognition â?¢ Maintain and use safety equipment as required â?¢
Report any safety violations to immediate supervisor â?¢ Ensure all
warning signs are in place and in good condition â?¢ Safeguard all
company assets; be aware of any security violations and report
immediately to supervisor â?¢ Report any environmental incidents or
potential incidents immediately â?¢ Review all repair procedures
and methods to ensure that safety hazards and environmental impact
are minimized â?¢ Read and be familiar with State Environmental
Compliance Regulations â?¢ Perform maintenance on lease equipment
â?¢ Check all surface equipment daily and all pumps for seal leaks
and to ensure they are primed and operating properly â?¢ Provide
recommendations for increased profitability of lease â?¢ Stay
abreast of new production techniques â?¢ Prepare written reports on
ideas and changes wanted; include reasons why and cost, when
possible â?¢ Attend and participate in all safety meetings With
