Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities

  • Disassemble landing gear
  • Identify parts
  • Clean and media blast parts
  • Examine and evaluate all components to locate any damage or problems
  • Repair and replace parts as driven by the relevant technical data
  • Read and interpret maintenance manuals
  • Reassemble landing gear
  • Prepare completed assemblies for crating and shipping
  • Abide by all Quality procedures
  • Follow safety procedures at all timesQualifications and Education Requirements
    • Previous mechanical maintenance experience
    • Familiarity and knowledge of how to use tools
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Basic arithmetic
    • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
    • Problem Solving
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficient in the English language Physical Abilities
      • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
      • Stand for extended periods of time
      • Writing/reading comprehension
      • Ability to recognize current or future problems
      • Bend, twist, stretch or reach with body arms and/or legs
      • Manual Dexterity
      • Finger Dexterity
      • Arm-Hand steadiness
      • Near Vision
      • Multilimb Coordination Other Requirements
        • Flexibility to work any shift
        • Able to work under pressure
        • Work overtime as required
        • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check and pre-employment test for drugs and alcohol per DOT regulations
