hiring a General Machinist/Water Jet operator for a leading
organization in Rio Rancho This is a Full Time Temp to hire
position with a Monday-Friday 7am - 3:30 pm Schedule Pay for this
position starts at $20 or more DOE As a General machinist/Water Jet
operator you will: Set up and operate vertical mills and engine
lathes to produce precision parts. Operate and maintain water jet
cutting equipment Perform accurate setups and ensure proper tooling
for each job Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and
specifications Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality
standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area Troubleshoot
and resolve machining issues as needed. General Machinist/Water Jet
operator candidates must meet the following requirements for
consideration: Minimum 3 years of machining experience in a
manufacturing or shop environment Proficient in setups and
operation of manual machines (vertical mills and engine lathes) CNC
milling and water jet experience is a strong plus Ability to read
and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong attention to
detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and
as part of a Team Must have own tools Preferred Skills: Knowledge
of various aircraft materials (metals, plastics, composites)
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (micrometers,
calipers, gauges) Basic understanding of CAD/CAM software is a plus
