Medcare Staffing is seeking a Hospitalist for an Indian Health Services facility in Gallup, NM.
Since this is a government opportunity, ANY state license is accepted.

• 78 bed hospital
• 4400 inpatient encounters annually
• Daily/Shift Patients/Procedures Volume Per Physician- 8-10 patients daily
• AVAILABLE RESOURCES: Physicians (#)- 3 other hospitalists on at a time out of a group of 14
• RNs (#)- 10-15
• Training: How many days of orientation and training do you require to onboard new physicians ? 0.5
• Shift times: 8-6 most days (leave when work done) 7am-7pm every 4th day---
• Vents:--- Does the hospitalist manage ventilators? Yes has to be proficient
• ICU: Does the hospitalist cover ICU? Yes
• Acute Beds: number of beds on the inpatient service? 25
• ICU Beds: number of beds in the ICU? Open or closed ICU? 6 open ICU
• Codes: Does the hospitalist manage / run the code blue response? Is there a response team? Yes, yes
• Day Census: number of patients per day shift? 8-10 per hospitalist
