A Dialysis Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care at
one of DCI's in-center hemodialysis units as part of a patient care
team. Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest
quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient.
Schedule: Potential fulltime shifts vary from four 10-hour shifts
or three 12-hour shifts and are set upon hiring; Sundays off; no
overnight shifts

Responsibilities:
What You Can Expect:
--- Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies
and ensure quality standards are met
--- Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and
procedures
--- Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching
--- Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating
changes with physician and families
--- Administer and chart all prescribed medications
--- Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
--- Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart
reviews
--- Document required patient education efforts
--- Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
--- Assist in medication inventory maintenance
--- Lead a small patient care team
--- Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed
--- Additional tasks as requested
Qualifications:

--- Ability to problem solve
Education/Training:
--- Accredited nursing degree required
--- Dialysis experience not required
--- DCI provides a 3-month comprehensive training, including
classroom group sessions and one-on-one skills training
