  • 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS - Please only submit candidates that area aware of their submission to our facility.

  • 13 weeks assignment, 2 years experience current required in a specialized unit.
  • Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
  • Must have successfully completed at least one travel assignment.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years experience current required in Cardiac Cath Lab.
    • At least one 13-week travel assignment completed.
    • Prefer 3 years of adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or EP procedures in performing scrubbing, circulating and monitoring/recording duties.
    • RN licensure required.
    • Associates Degree in RN program, radiology.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift start at 7am - on call required weekdays.
      • On call at both Rust Medical Center and Presbyterian Hospital, weekends required.
      • Friday 1730- Monday 0700 & holidays required for call only.
      • Floating required Yes (typically to Presbyterian Hospital & Rust Medical Center.
      • Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
      • Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
      • 4 10 shifts 1 day off during the week.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Responsibilities to include Adult Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Devices, Electrophysiology and/or Structural Heart.
        • Ensures that complete and accurate documentation is maintained, ensures accurate medication, charge, and reporting accuracy of daily procedural case load.
        • Respond and provide emergent care, performs administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, ensuring maintenance of equipment, and cleanliness of the lab.
        • Assures preparedness of procedure rooms and compliance in accordance to PHS, Local and Federal regulations.
          • Additional Details
          • Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from the last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
          • Travelers are first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of the permanent assigned location.
          • State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice.
          • The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
