Job SummaryUniversity of New Mexico - Hospitals seeks highly skilled Registered Nurses for a Per Diem II position in our Endoscopy department. As a Per Diem II RN, you will provide direct nursing care to assigned patients, working within the nursing process to ensure a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment.Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients, adhering to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures.
• Work within the nursing process to provide patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Ensure adherence to patient safety policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Participate in educational programs and stay current with literature to enhance professional growth and development.Requirements
  • 1 year of directly related experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider certification within 30 days.
  • RN licensure in New Mexico or a reciprocal agreement state.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 6 months.
  • Basic Arrhythmia certification within 1 year.
  • PALS certification within 6 months.Working ConditionsThis position requires working in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to biohazardous materials. PPE is required.
