Overview: Presbyterian is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic Emergency
Department team. The LPN will provide patient-centered care in a
fast-paced, high-acuity environment under the supervision of
registered nurses (RNs) and physicians. This role requires strong
clinical skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to manage
multiple priorities while ensuring quality care and patient safety.

Responsibilities: ---------Provide direct patient care, including
taking vital signs, administering medications, and performing basic
medical procedures as permitted by state
regulations.---------Assist in the triage process by gathering
patient information and documenting symptoms and medical
histories.---------Monitor and report changes in patient condition
to RNs and physicians.---------Assist with wound care, IV therapy,
splinting, and other procedures as directed.---------Support
patients and families by providing education and emotional
reassurance during critical situations.---------Maintain accurate
and timely documentation in the electronic health record
(EHR).---------Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to
ensure seamless patient care.---------Uphold infection control
practices and maintain a safe environment for patients and
staff.---------Participate in emergency response situations and
contribute to team efforts during critical events.---------Restock
supplies and ensure the emergency department is prepared for
patient care. Qualifications: ---Education: -High School Diploma or
GED---Credentials: Licensed Practical Nurse-NM or out of state
compact LPN license---BLS required at time of hire---PDS IV
Certification course (within orientation period)---Basic Cardiac
Arrythmias (BCA) for areas where cardiac telemetry monitoring is
used (prior to ACLS)---ACLS (within 6 months of being hired) for
