Job Description:
The Registered Nurse 1 role involves assessing, planning,
implementing, and evaluating patient care across all ages to ensure
optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities include conducting age-specific assessments,
collaborating with the healthcare team and patient/family to
develop and revise interdisciplinary care plans, and accurately
administering treatments and medications using electronic medical
records.
Identifies and addresses patient and caregiver educational needs,
advocates for patients' rights, and provides social, psychological,
and cultural support.
Requirements include a nursing degree from an accredited program,
current RN licensure in Virginia or eligibility, CPR and other
certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP), and proficiency with electronic
medical records.
The position offers full-time day shifts (4x9 hours) at a hospital
setting, with a supportive, innovative, and collaborative work
environment.
