Job Description:

The nurse independently practices in a similar clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care. Provides both routine and complex nursing care, planning long-term goals and managing clinical contingencies. Delegates tasks appropriately to care team members to optimize patient outcomes. Meets competency expectations in self-leadership and team leadership. Utilizes the nursing process-----"assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation-----"for assigned patients. Addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, providing education and support. Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care accurately. Assesses learning needs and educates patients and families accordingly. Requires a BSN (preferred), 1 year of related experience (preferred), BLS certification, and an RN license in the state of employment or compact license.
