Your duties will include:--- Placing and finishing routine and complex restorations (amalgam and composite)--- Fabricating and placing temporary crowns and bridges--- Placing and contouring temporary restorations--- Applying endodontic medicaments and desensitizers--- Retracting gingivae for impressions--- Taking preliminary impressions for study models--- Performing oral prophylaxis and fluoride applications--- Applying pit and fissure sealants--- Exposing, processing, and mounting dental radiographs--- Operating ultrasonic scaler (Cavitron) and hand instruments--- Educating patients on home care and post-treatment instructions--- Assisting the dentist by anticipating needs for instruments and materials--- Sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment--- Ordering and stocking dental supplies--- Supporting daily clinic cleanliness and organization--- Training and mentoring junior dental assistants--- Taking and recording patient vital signsAdditional Duties:Additional duties and responsibilities may be added to this job description at any time.
