*Clinical Magnet*, a division of ICON Medical Network, is looking for a compassionate *Occupational Therapist *to join our partner's full-time team in *Albuquerque, NM*. This is an exceptional hybrid opportunity working with geriatric patients in an outpatient setting as well as within their homes a fraction of the time. Great pay, strong benefits and PTO, and a *$10K SIGN-ON BONUS!**This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY, not contract!**Key Responsibilities:** Provides clinical occupational therapy evaluation and treatment on an acute, restorative and maintenance level to program participants.* Assesses condition, creates a treatment plan and discusses implementation of therapy with participant or caretaker(s).* Integrates occupational therapy treatment plan in the team Plan of Care (POC).* Assists in the ordering, inventory, distribution, and maintenance of durable medical equipment for participants.* Makes home visits/educational sessions as needed and indicated in the POC, and documents activities including participant/caregiver response in participants chart.* Educates participants and family members in proper care and use of various supports and exercise programs in addition to the use of durable medical equipment (DME).* Administers treatment program per referral from assessments from the interdisciplinary team (IDT)* Instructs family members, caregivers, and staff in methods to maximize safety and functional abilities in performing Activities of Daily Living (ADL) with documentation in medical record notes.* Evaluates charts and reports on participants progress to appropriate staff.* Documents occupational therapy services provided and performs department record-keeping in keeping within documentation requirements.* Other duties as assigned*Key Requirements:** Graduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)* Bachelors in OT (Occupational Therapy) required, Masters in OT (Occupational Therapy) preferred* National Certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association or eligible for National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.* Registration with state in which practicing* Requires state issued drivers license, personal transportation, good driving record and auto insurance as required by law* A minimum of one year experience working with the frail or elderly is required.*Compensation and Schedule:** Pay rate starts at $38.80 but can be _*considerably higher*_ based on years of experience* $10K SIGN ON BONUS!* Comprehensive benefits plan* Monday-Friday, 8AM - 4:30PM* Paid holidays and NO weekends!Job Type: Full-timePay: From $38.80 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Referral program* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridayWork Location: In personby Jobble
