Pay Information $2,180 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Pending licenses accepted Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - Ability to perform IV starts - Telemetry experience Description: The position involves caring for patients in a progressive care unit. Travelers are expected to float to other PCU and lower acuity settings within their skill set, including med-surg units. Ratios may be 1:5 or possibly 1:6. The facility operates at over 100% capacity. Weekend shifts are required, two per four-week schedule. No on-call requirements exist for this role. COVID vaccination is required, though religious and medical exemptions are accepted with proper documentation. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. RTO restrictions apply; preference for 7 days or less, with certain exceptions noted. Travelers must provide their own transportation. Modules may be required during orientation and annually. Orientation lasts for 8 hours.
