Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Certified Surgical Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 08/11/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel CHRISTUS St Vincent Regional Medical Center 455 St Michaels Drive Santa Fe, NM 87505 Specialty: CST OR Shift: 6:30am-3pm- with call requirements (5x8's) Position Summary: An integral member of the surgical team who provides support for surgeons throughout the operation by preparing, providing and caring for instruments and equipment and maintaining a sterile field. Requirements: 1YR Exp Working in Specialty 1YR Exp Working Only in Acute Care Setting ACTIVE BLS (AHA) ACTIVE ACLS (AHA) Surgical Tech Cert One or more years experience in an acute care hospital setting in the operating room or an instrument care environment preferred Knowledge of care and handling of instruments and equipment. Knowledge of sterilization and cleansing procedures. Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
