Job Description TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel Endoscopy Technician for a travel job in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Endoscopy Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 07/28/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, flexible - Employment Type: Travel SHIFT:0700-1530, Mon- Fri 8 hr rotating shifts START: ASAP REQUIRED: CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: BLS certification. CST, SGNA, CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification Weekend Requirement2 weekends a month (Sat Sun= 1 weekend) On Call Requirement2 call nights a week POSITION TITLE: GI Procedure Technician Certified DEPARTMENT: Outpatient Procedure Clinic POSITION SUMMARY: Assists physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures. Responsible for care, maintenance, inventory and reorder of all GI related supplies and equipment. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Completion of high school or GED. Prefer two years post high school education in related healthcare field, preferable in radiology, respiratory or nursing. CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: BLS certification. CST, SGNA, CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification SKILLS: /t 1. Strong organizational skills /t 2. Ability to work collaboratively with others /t 3. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision /t 4. Ability to read, write and speak fluent English; Spanish as a second language helpful /t 5. Ability to work at a rapid pace under stressful conditions. EXPERIENCE: Two years GI lab technician experience preferred, outpatient setting. NATURE OF SUPERVISION: -Responsible to: Manager, Perianesthesia, Charge Nurse - Bloodborne pathogens: C ENVIRONMENT: Requires knowledge of safety standards to limit exposure to infectious disease and strong chemicals. In daily contact with body fluids of patients. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Operates, cleans and maintains procedure equipment such as endoscopes, video and microprocessor instruments, biopsy forceps, stints, cautery, etc. Moves from one area to another within the hospital and/or clinic. Positions patients, lifts and moves equipment throughout hospital. Able to serve in limited nursing assistant role in Out Patient Procedure Clinic. TB_HC Talent Burst Job ID 25-34348.
