About The Position We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens position at a hospital in California. This 80-day assignment begins on 09/01/2025, with a potential for extension. The schedule consists of four 10-hour days per week, from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing a variety of conditions including cough, cold, flu, hypertension, diabetes, and complex patients with multiple diagnoses. This opportunity also involves prescribing suboxone and requires proficiency in Epic EMR system. Job Details: Location: California Facility Type: Hospital Start Date: 09/01/2025 LOA: 80 days Provider Type Needed: Physician - Family Practice Schedule: 4 days/week, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM Job Responsibilities and Duties: • Provide comprehensive family medicine care • Diagnose and treat various conditions, including colds, coughs, flu symptoms, diabetes, and hypertension • Manage medications for patients with complex medical histories • Prescribe suboxone when appropriate • Utilize Epic EMR system for patient documentation • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes • Complete administrative tasks and charting during allocated time • Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures Additional Information: • California medical license required • Flexible schedule with choice of working days • 36 hours of patient time and 4 hours of administrative time per week • Potential for assignment extension Apply now to learn more!
