About The Position We are seeking a qualified Family Practice Physician to join our integrated care team in California for a 44-day locum tenens assignment starting 06/30/2025. This role involves day shifts from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in family practice or internal medicine, with specific experience in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC). Job Details - Location: California - Start Date: Jun 30, 2025 - LOA (Length of Assignment): 44 days - Provider Type Needed: Family Practice Physician - Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Responsibilities and Duties - Assess and diagnose patients with multiple comorbidities. - Conduct wellness exams and regular check-ups. - Educate patients on disease management and prevention. - Work collaboratively within an integrated care team. - Utilize EPIC EMR system to document patient interactions. - Ensure a holistic approach to patient care without unnecessary referrals. Additional Information - Required Board Certifications: Internal Medicine; Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP). - Must be Medicare/Medicaid enrolled in CA. - Minimum 5 years of experience in family practice or internal medicine. - EPIC EMR experience is mandatory. - Previous experience in FQHC or IHS settings is essential.
