About The Position We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Medicine Doctor for a 64-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting on Jul 14, 2025. Ideal candidates will work Monday to Friday, with daily shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring comprehensive medical oversight at our client's facility. Job Details - Location: California - Start Date: Jul 14, 2025 - LOA: 64 days - Provider Type Needed: Occupational Medicine Doctor - Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Responsibilities and Duties - Serve as the Onsite Medical Director, overseeing occupational health operations. - Provide medical consultation and hands-on care for work-related injuries, medical surveillance, and urgent non-occupational emergencies. - Clinically supervise all onsite medical staff, ensuring adherence to best practice and regulatory compliance. - Conduct and oversee medical review officer (MRO) duties, including drug test result analysis. - Administer preventative measures such as influenza shots and manage fitness-for-duty evaluations. - Engage with client stakeholders for continuous improvement of health protocols. - Triage and manage workplace injuries and illnesses effectively.
