Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/03/2025 - Duration: 14 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist with at least one year of adult Cath Lab experience and current RCIS or RCES certification. Responsibilities - Work in an invasive cardiovascular lab performing adult cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures - Duties include scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and recording during diagnostic and interventional cases - Shifts are 10-hour days from 07:00 to 17:30, four days per week - Float between departments or local locations within 20 miles may be required - No local candidates within a 50-mile radius - Role includes adult cardiac catheterization, device procedures, electrophysiology, and/or structural heart interventions - Maintain accurate documentation, medication records, and charges for daily procedural caseload - Responsible for emergent care response, administrative tasks, equipment maintenance, and lab cleanliness - Pass/fail Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia Testing is required and conducted during orientation; one retake permitted - Travelers who do not pass the test after two attempts will be terminated - Former staff must wait one year before being eligible to return as a traveler Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in adult Cath Lab performing scrub, circulate, and monitoring/recording duties - Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment - Associates degree in Invasive Cardiovascular, Cardiopulmonary Technologist, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, Paramedic, or Surgical Technology, or 4 years equivalent experience - RCIS or RCES certification required - BLS and ACLS required - License required if applicable Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629898.
