Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Rio Rancho, NM Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,930 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: NM license can pend at the time of submission Certifications: BLS and ACLS required NIH and TNCC preferred Must-Have: Vent management experience is required Experience with chest tube insertion, intubations, paracentesis, thoracentesis, CRRT, arterial lines, central lines, and vas cath is needed. Knowledge in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, and multi-system organ failure is essential. Experience with ventilator management and blood product administration is necessary. Understanding of surgical wounds, wound vacs, and procedural sedation is required. Description: The position involves providing critical care to patients in an intensive care setting. The ICU typically has a mix of ICU, sub-acute, and floor status patients. Patient ratios are 1:2 in the ICU and 1:4 in sub-acute care. Weekend shifts are required, with a minimum of every other weekend. This role involves occasional floating to other inpatient units. Candidates must be able to manage various patient diagnoses, including sepsis, renal failure, ARDS, and respiratory failure. Familiarity with hospital equipment such as CRRT, Edwards FloTrac, and Philips monitors is advantageous. The facility is a community-based hospital with a total of 65 staffed beds, including 12 ICU beds. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. The position requires teamwork and collaboration with healthcare professionals across different departments. Compliance with health and safety protocols is mandatory.
