The TRN adapts quickly to new clinical environments while maintaining professional nursing standards and delivering safe, compassionate care. Key Responsibilities : Deliver direct patient care according to facility policies and nursing standards Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Supervise and delegate tasks to CNAs and LPNs as appropriate Comply with facility, state, and federal healthcare regulations Adapt to different units, teams, and workflows Requirements – Travel Registered Nurse (TRN) Education : Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) BSN preferred License & Certification : Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Compact RN license preferred (for multi-state travel) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) may be required based on specialty Experience : Minimum of 1–2 years of recent clinical nursing experience Experience in hospital or specialty units preferred Ability to work independently with minimal orientation Skills & Competencies : Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Flexibility and adaptability to new environments Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) Ability to manage time effect i vely in fast-paced settings.
