Registered Nurse (RN) | Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op Location: Los Alamos, NM Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,106 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/1/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Los Alamos, New Mexico, 87544! Job Title: PACU RN Profession: RN Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days with some call on nights and weekends Hours per Shift: 8.5 hours Experience: 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: Prior PACU experience Description: This position involves working in a post-anesthesia care unit. The unit has a total of 3 beds. Patient ratios are typically 1 to 1 or 1 to 2. The position may require on-call coverage. Once notified of a case, the staff member must arrive within 30 minutes. Experience in preoperative care is preferred but not required. Common diagnoses and treatments include appendectomies and gallbladder surgeries. The patient population primarily consists of adults. The unit employs electronic health record systems. The role will be under the supervision of a designated supervisor.
