Description: The Emergency Room is experiencing an increased number
of admit holds. Approximately 60%-80% of the Emergency Department
patients are admitted. Many of the ED rooms are designated as "ED
Holding." Medication administration includes IV medications via the
seven medication rights. Documentation and communication of
clinical findings are essential. The patient ratio is 1:5. Weekends
will be scheduled as needed. Weekend days are defined as Saturday
and Sunday. Weekend nights are considered Friday, Saturday, and
Sunday. Floating to Adult Patient Care Units is an expectation
based on staffing needs. Floating to Pediatrics Emergency
Department is optional. Bar Code Medication Scanning is required
for all employees. Compliance documents are due two Fridays prior
to starting. No locals within a 75-mile radius will be accepted.
RTO restrictions apply for holidays and require approval. Drug
screens must be completed within 30 days of starting. Travelers can
work 12 consecutive months before needing a break. Candidates must
be fully available for compliance in the first 1-2 weeks after
signing. Any vacation time or schedule conflicts should be
communicated prior to submission. All submissions should strictly
