Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Provide direct patient care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient needs • Ensure safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients • Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or standard protocols • Identify and meet patient and family learning and discharge needs throughout care episode • Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel • Complete patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing • Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles is required • Must be a team player, flexible, and comfortable in fast-paced environment • At least one 13-week previous travel assignment required • Two years current experience required in specialty • EPIC experience preferred (training available on-site) • Required education: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) • Required certifications: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License, BLS certification through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross Facility: This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical services to the community, featuring modern patient care units equipped to handle diverse medical conditions.
