Job Description Job Description We are seeking a
LocumsPsychiatry Physician to provide part-time psychiatric care in
San Jose, CA.This role involves performing comprehensive
psychiatric assessments and ongoingmedication management for
developmentally disabled patients with co-occurringmental health
disorders. The ideal candidate will be compassionate,detail
-oriented, and experienced in both adult and/or child psychiatry.
Compensation: $300 Per hour depending upon experience
Responsibilities: Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing
medication management for referred patients. Provide specialized
psychiatric and medical services, including prescribing and
monitoring controlled substances. Develop individualized treatment
plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure
comprehensive patient care. Deliver qualified, reimbursable
services under Medicare, Medi-Cal, Regional Centers, County Mental
Health, and other funding sources. Maintain timely and accurate
medical documentation in compliance with applicable regulations.
Participate in quality assurance and case review meetings as
needed. Requirements: Active California Medical License (required).
Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of
Psychiatry and Neurology in Adult and/or Child Psychiatry
(Certification must be obtained within 5 years of residency).
Eligible for Medicare/Medi-Cal certification. Authorized to
prescribe controlled substances. Flu and COVID-19 vaccination
required, or approved medical/religious exemption. Located in the
