Registered Nurse (RN) | Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op Location: Albuquerque, NM Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $2,038 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Mindlance Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87106! ID: 74785820 Shift: 12 3x12 Hr Description: Floating between departments and or local locations within 20 miles is required.Job Summary: -Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. -Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients. -Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses. -Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team. -Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care. -Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols and documents according to policy. -Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care. -Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel. -Completes patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards. nullSkills: Required Skills & Experience:-Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environment.-At least one 13 week previous travel assignment.-Two (2) years current experience required in specialty.Preferred Skills & Experience:-EPIC experience; can train on-site. nullEducation: Required Education: One of the following is required:-Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN).-Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).
