Registered Nurse (RN) | Correctional Location: Albuquerque, NM Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $2,608 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Mindlance Health to find a qualified Correctional RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87101! ID: 75299934 Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30) Description: No RQI Certifications 48s onlyNo locals within 75 mile radius Must be able to pass facility background check. MOAB certification is required, if the traveler does not already have the MOAB certification, they will receive the 4 hour de escalation course during their first week. If they do not pass; their contract may be up for cancellation. *COVID vaccination required - religious and medical exemptions accepted with completion of COVID exemption form, signed by a provider for medical Years of experience REQ: 1 First-timers accepted: Yes; with prior experience preferred Weekend REQ: every other Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS, MOAB (facility will provide) Open to accommodating block schedule? The Addictions department oversees Suboxone, detox medication administration as well as Suboxone inductions, it will also include Methadone medication pass. You will be responsible for the assessments and treatments of patients going through substance withdrawal process and providing assessment and monitoring of patients during the induction process. Ratio info: For our suboxone pass, we are 1:50, we will be adding methadone come February so that will be a med pass of 1:70. Then for detox, we have a max ratio of 1:50, which very rarely reaches the 50 mark, we usually toggle about 1:40. Special Equipment : Unit is open to MS, ER, or RN who has experience with CIWA/withdrawals, please SCREEN candidates who don't have corrections but have experience with detox/withdrawals - call out their past work history in the review decision. Tier2 Travel Compliance Compliance document deadline is two Friday s before starting (10 days prior to start). RTO : RTO Restrictions : Client prefers that travelers only request one holiday bundle max (holiday bundles include: Block 1: Thanksgiving the day after; Block 2: Christmas Eve Christmas Day 5 ; Block 3: NYE NYD ; however if the traveler requires more than this, RTO will be requested upon offer. No RTO can be requested during the first 7 days of the contract or on the last day of the contract. If traveler can cut their RTO down to just 7 days or less for all units (except for PCU, which is RTO 10 days or less), and there are no major holidays included, then AM can automatically approve RTO without asking the client and speed up the offer process. Please encourage clinician to cut RTO down to 7 days or less to speed up process if possible. Otherwise RTO will be requested upon offer. Marketing submissions : Facility will NOT accept marketing submissions, even if they are a return traveler and the unit manager reached out to them and asked them to return. Please pay attention to NOVA and only submit over once you see a need open up. *75 mileage radius in effect please redirect if clinician lives within 75 miles of facility Please ensure traveler has a (non-local) Driver s License uploaded to their file ASAP as this is a facility compliance requirement. If they do NOT have a valid DL, they must provide a written statement outlining their transportation plan to get to and from the hospital. Please note that personal transportation is required for travelers working at the Metropolitan Detention Center. Due to its location public transportation and ride-sharing are not available for that location License: will not accept provisional licenses For all Behavioral Health and related positions : if not yet MOAB certified, traveler will take in-person MOAB certification course as part of orientation during first week. If traveler does not pass the course, their contract will immediately be terminated. * If your traveler already has the MOAB cert in hand, please send a copy with submission and there will be a $5 rate bump upon verification offer. PCU, ICU And L D Units 36 48 hour contract available, please indicate travelers preference with submittal Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center Min yrs of Exp: 1-2 yrs for most units. (ER requires previous travel exp. 99% of the time) P/F Testing is required Travelers can work up to 12 consecutive month before needing to take a break between assignments Perm Employees applying for travel : Allowed to return as travelers if they have been out of the system for 12 months or more. Effective 9/2022 OT Policy : OT must be approved by client before being worked. Approval for OT is rare. Please be sure clinicians are aware of this OT policy prior to submittal Preceptor Pay : this facility does not offer an increased rate for preceptor shifts Compliance Info : Due to UNM strict requirements and deadline, candidate must be fully available and ready to work on compliance the first 1-2 weeks after signing.
