The T-RN utilizes professional nursing judgment, clinical expertise, and evidence-based practice to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to integrate seamlessly into facility workflows while maintaining compliance with all policies and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities : Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes or emergencies Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Provide patient education and support to patients and families Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards Float to assigned units as needed based on facility requirements Uphold professional nursing standards and facility policies Requirements : Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (state-specific or compact, as applicable) Minimum 1 –2 years of recent clinical RN experience (unit-specific experience may be required) BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent) Ability to work variable schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and health clearance Preferred Qualifications : Prior travel or agency nursing experience Experience in acute care, critical care, or specialty units (as applicable) Familiarity with electronic medical records (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.) Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NIHSS) depending on unit Physical & Professional Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and perform patient care duties for extended periods Ability to lift, reposition, or assist patients as needed Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and reliability throughout the assignment Apply now to start your next travel adventure!
