Occupational Therapist Location: Albuquerque, NM Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,428 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Inpatient Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 1 year experience required, first-time travelers accepted License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, NBCOT Must-Have: - Experience in acute care settings - Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for various diagnoses Description: We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The qualified candidate will work with adult and geriatric patients. Daily patient census is approximately 6-7 patients. Patients may present with a variety of diagnoses, including CVA, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputees, and medically complex conditions. The role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Therapists will float to similar units as necessary based on facility needs. Candidates should have experience with charting systems, particularly in electronic formats. Experience with specialized rehab techniques, such as biofeedback, electrical stimulation, and cardiac rehabilitation, is preferred. Candidates should be prepared to work approximately 2-3 weekend shifts per month. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for working with patients and the healthcare team. The ideal candidate should be flexible and willing to adapt to the dynamic nature of the inpatient rehabilitation environment.
