Job Description:
Description POSITION SUMMARY: Performs diagnostic and
interventional procedures as requested by physicians. Provides care
for patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for
interpretation by an Electrophysiologist/Cardiologist. Requirements
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree in
Science or comparable work experience. CERTIFICATION/LICENSES . BLS
certification required. ACLS required. RCIS, RCES or CVIS
Certification required. SKILLS: Thorough knowledge of
cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, medical terminology and
basic computer skills Thorough knowledge of interventional
procedures in Cardiology Ability to read, write, and communicate
verbally in English EXPERIENCE: One year Cath lab/ EP experience
preferred.
