Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time occupational therapy opportunity supports K-12 students across multiple schools in Edgewood, NM. The position involves working with elementary and high school students, as well as contributing to an autism-focused district program off campus. The role requires providing both direct and indirect OT services, including consultations to teachers to support student development and success. Responsibilities: - Deliver occupational therapy services to students in two elementary schools, managing caseloads of approximately 11-12 students per school - Provide services to high school students, supporting a caseload of 17-18 students - Support the Autism-based district program with tailored interventions and assistance off-campus - Offer both direct therapy and indirect services, including teacher consultations and collaborative care planning - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress - Collaborate with school staff to create and implement effective therapeutic strategies Qualifications: - Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license - Experience in school-based occupational therapy, preferably working with K-12 populations - Comfort and adaptability in itinerant roles across multiple school locations - Ability to provide consultative services and collaborate effectively with educators and families - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for caseload management and documentation Location: Edgewood, NM Assignment type: Contract for the current school year, extending through May 29, 2026 Schedule: Full-time, itinerant across multiple schools This role offers a rewarding chance to impact student lives across a diverse age range and educational settings.
