Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Los Alamos, NM Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,706 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 6 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Los Alamos, New Mexico, 87544! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 06:30 - 15:00 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years License: Valid RN license in New Mexico Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, HWC Must-Have Skills/Experience: - Professional demeanor - Experience in an Operating Room setting Description: Must be available to start within 7-10 days from offer acceptance. Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays. Travelers must be 60 miles or greater to be considered. All travelers must have required certifications upon submission. Each agency needs to have an account with the state Department of Health. Clinical staff on assignment in New Mexico must be fingerprinted before hire. Documentation of the background check process must be provided. Travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while waiting on results but must be supervised. Unit has 3 Operating Rooms, 3 PACU beds, and 5 Pre-op beds. Patient ratios are typically 1:1 or 1:2. Electronic Health Record systems used are CQI and Medhost. Patient population includes all ages. Preferred skillset includes travel experience, but it is not required. Common diagnoses and treatments include a range of surgical procedures. Dress code: Scrub color is hospital provided.
