Job Description Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Socorro, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Floating between departments and or local locations within 20 miles is required. Job Summary: - Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. - Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients. - Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses. - Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team. - Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care. - Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols and documents according to policy. - Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care. - Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel. - Completes patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards. null Required Skills & Experience: - Minimum two (2) years current experience required in large OR. - Candidate must be able to scrub. - Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast paced environment. - Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. Preferred Skills & Experience: - Epic experience preferred, but not required; can train on-site. - Ortho, EENT, and/or vascular experience a plus. nullRequired Education: One of the following is required: - Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN). - Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN). Preferred Education: - N/A Required Certifications & Licensure: - State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License. - BLS required. - BLS, (ACLS, and PALS if obtained) must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
