Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - PACU Job Details: • Provide direct patient care to assigned group of patients during shift • Utilize nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient needs • Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patient/family and healthcare team • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols • Document patient care according to facility policy • Identify and meet patient and family learning and discharge needs • Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel • Complete patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing • Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environment • Two years current experience required in specialty • At least one 13-week previous travel assignment required • Must pass BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmias) testing during first week of assignment • Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required • Required certifications: New Mexico or Compact State nursing license, BLS, ACLS, PALS • Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required • EPIC experience preferred (can train on-site) • English proficiency required (speak, read, write) Facility: This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical services with a focus on post-anesthesia care.
