Job Description Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a
travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job
in Espanola, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements -
Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Duration:
13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type:
Travel Selected candidates MUST SUCCESSFULLY PASS a BCA (Basic
Cardiac Arrythmia) test. Candidates will not be able to start an
assignment until they have passed this onsite administered test.
Should they fail, candidates will have one opportunity to re-test,
a second failure will result in contract cancellation and all
applicable fees will be enforced. Floating between departments and
or local locations within 20 miles is required. Job Summary:.
-Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an
assigned group of patients during a shift. -Ensures safe,
effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care
of patients. -Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning,
implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs,
actions taken, and patient responses. -Coordinates patient care
through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team.
-Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and
standards of care. -Administers medication and treatments as
prescribed by physician or standard protocols and documents
according to policy. -Identifies and meets patient and family
learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the
episode of care. -Assumes responsibility for the clinical
supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel.
-Completes patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol
education and competency testing per unit standards. Required
Skills & Experience: -Two (2) years current experience required in
large ED. -Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast
paced environment. -Must have successfully completed at least one
13-week travel assignment. -Selected candidates MUST SUCCESSFULLY

Skills & Experience: -Epic experience preferred, but not required;
can train on-site. Required Education: One of the following is
required: -Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN). -Associate of
Science in Nursing (ASN). Preferred Education: -N/A Required
Certifications & Licensure: -State of New Mexico or Compact State
Nursing License. -BLS, ACLS, PALS and NIHSS certifications
required. -BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be completed through American
Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red
Cross. Preferred Certifications & Licensure: -N/A
QUALIFICATION/LICENSURE Work Authorization : US Citizen Preferred
years of experience : 1 years Travel required : No travel required
