with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Espanola, New
Mexico, 87532! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 12 Hours
Varied Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Two years of current
experience in a large Emergency Department License: State Nursing
License (New Mexico or Compact State) Certifications: BLS, ACLS,
PALS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Two years of current experience in a large
Emergency Department - Must successfully pass a Basic Cardiac
Arrhythmia (BCA) test - Must have successfully completed at least
one 13-week travel assignment - Must be a team player, flexible,
and accustomed to a fast-paced environment Description: Selected
candidates must successfully pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA)
test. Candidates will not be able to start an assignment until they
have passed this onsite administered test. If candidates fail the
test, they will have one opportunity to re-test. A second failure
will result in contract cancellation and applicable fees. Utilizes
the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned
group of patients during a shift. Ensures safe, effective,
patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of
patients. Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning,
implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs,
actions taken, and patient responses. Coordinates patient care
through collaboration with the patient and healthcare team.
Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and
standards of care. Administers medication and treatments as
prescribed by physician or standard protocols and documents
according to policy. Identifies and meets patient and family
learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the
episode of care. Assumes responsibility for the clinical
supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel. Completes
patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education
and competency testing per unit standards. Epic experience
preferred, but not required; training will be provided. BLS, ACLS,
and PALS must be completed through recognized organizations. 5
