Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Socorro, NM Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,486 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 15 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 15 weeks Shift: 10 Hour Days Hours per Shift: 40.00 Experience: Minimum two years of current experience in a large operating room. License: State Nursing License (Compact State accepted) Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred. Must-Have: - Ability to scrub in surgical procedures. - Team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment. - Successful completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment. Description: Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients. Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses. Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient and healthcare team. Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care. Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by a physician or standard protocols and documents according to policy. Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care. Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of licensed practical nurses and non-licensed assistive personnel. Completes patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards.
