PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Espanola, New Mexico, 87532! Job Title:
Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post
Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10 Hour Days
Hours per Shift: 40.00 Experience: - Minimum of two (2) years
current experience required in specialty - At least one 13-week
previous travel assignment License: - State Nursing License or
Compact State Nursing License Certifications: - BLS certification
completed through recognized organizations - ACLS certification
through recognized organizations - PALS certification completed
through recognized organizations - Traveler must pass the Basic
Cardiac Arrhythmias (BCA) testing during the first week of
assignment Must-Have: - Must be a team player, flexible, and
accustomed to fast-paced environment Description: Utilizes the
nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group
of patients during a shift. Ensures safe, effective,
patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of
patients. Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning,
implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs,
actions taken, and patient responses. Coordinates patient care
through collaboration with the patient and healthcare team.
Initiates and documents appropriate protocols and standards of
care. Administers medication and treatments as prescribed and
documents according to policy. Identifies and meets patient and
family learning and discharge needs throughout the episode of care.
Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and
non-licensed assistive personnel. Completes patient population,
procedure, and protocol education and competency testing per unit
standards. Floating between departments and local locations within
20 miles is required. Rotating weeknight and weekend shifts are
