Locum Tenens Obstetrician-Gynecologist Needed for Inpatient Call near Willard, NM (j-227575) Are you a motivated and experienced Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB-GYN) seeking a locum tenens opportunity to contribute to exceptional patient care in a dynamic hospital setting? We're seeking a qualified physician to join our team and ensure high-quality obstetrical and gynecological services during a maternity/paternity leave coverage need. What You'll Do: Provide on-call coverage for a variety of obstetrical and gynecological emergencies and inpatient consultations at our well-equipped hospital near Willard, NM. Collaborate with nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement safe and effective care plans for women experiencing pregnancy complications, labor and delivery, and gynecological issues requiring hospitalization. Perform a variety of obstetrical and gynecological procedures as needed, including cesarean sections and complex deliveries. Round on inpatients, monitor their progress, and make necessary adjustments to care plans. Maintain meticulous documentation within the Epic electronic medical record system. This assignment offers schedule flexibility, with call coverage only (major holidays included). Qualifications: Active medical license in the state of New Mexico (NM only). Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (fellowship preferred). Current ACLS and BLS certifications. Minimum of 30-60 days for credentialing (temporary privileges may be available). Strong clinical skills and a comprehensive knowledge base in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with expertise in managing both high-risk pregnancies and gynecological emergencies. Experience in performing a variety of obstetrical and gynecological procedures is a plus. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and make critical decisions. Additional Information: Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing (assignment ends November 29, 2024) Coverage includes major holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, etc.) with a call schedule only.
