General Medicine Physicians to provide essential assessment
services across New Mexico. This prestigious opportunity allows you

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Valid
state medical license in New Mexico. Prior experience in family
medicine, internal medicine, or related general medicine fields.
Strong interviewing skills and ability to perform basic physical
assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Ability to
work independently with minimal supervision. Nice to Have Skills:
Previous experience with compensation and pension (C&P) exams
or veterans’ healthcare assessments. Familiarity with medical
classifications and diagnostic procedures. Certification or
training in disability evaluation or related areas. Preferred
Education and Experience: Medical degree with at least one year of
practical experience in general medicine. Previous experience in a
similar telehealth or assessment environment is advantageous.
Knowledge of veterans’ healthcare processes is a plus. Other
Requirements: Own a private office within a 50-mile radius of
designated locations in Silver City, Deming, Hobbs, or Grants, NM.
Willingness to perform one-time non-treatment exams and
assessments. Ability to work 4-hour half-day or 8-hour full-day
shifts on an ongoing, PRN basis. Valid driver's license and
reliable transportation. Successful completion of credentialing and
onboarding process. No additional certifications or portal training
reimbursements are provided before start date. This role involves
no prescribing or treatment, focusing solely on interviews and
physical assessments. This compelling role offers a flat rate of
$800 for half-day shifts (up to 4 hours) and $1,600 for full-day
shifts (5 or more hours). A one-time bonus of $650 is available for
completing all required training and performing initial exams.
Travel expenses are included within rates for local candidates.
