Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opening position is available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support to students in a school setting located in Chimayo, NM. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, working five days a week with a diverse caseload of 34 K-8 students. The position operates on a contract basis and welcomes Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to collaborate and contribute to the student support team. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to the needs of K-8 students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments. Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain clear and accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes. Support students development in fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities. Qualifications and Experience: Valid occupational therapy license or certification appropriate for school settings. Experience working within schools, preferably with K-8 populations. Ability to manage a caseload effectively, demonstrating strong organizational skills. Willingness to work a full or part-time schedule, five days per week.
