ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ED Job Details: • Two (2) years current experience required in large ED • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment • Must successfully pass a BCA (Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia) test onsite before starting assignment • One opportunity to re-test if failed; second failure results in contract cancellation • Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles is required • Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environment • Utilize nursing process to provide direct patient care to assigned group of patients • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individual patient needs and responses • Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patient/family and healthcare team • Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols • Identify and meet patient and family learning and discharge needs • Assume responsibility for clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel • Complete patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing • Required certifications: BLS (CPR), ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross • New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required • Epic experience preferred but not required; can train on-site Facility: This medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services including emergency department care with advanced cardiac monitoring capabilities.
