Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is looking for a dedicated Nurse
Manager to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In
this role, you will oversee nursing activities across our
comprehensive network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and
home health services. You will ensure that patient care is
delivered with the highest standards of quality and compliance.
This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent
communication abilities, and a deep commitment to patient care.
Manage and supervise nursing staff across multiple facilities to
ensure quality patient care and adherence to health and safety
standards. Develop and implement nursing department policies and
procedures. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to
ensure efficient operation of patient care services. Evaluate
nursing staff performance and provide feedback and development
opportunities. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local
regulations and accrediting organizations. Monitor patient care for
quality assurance and implement improvements as necessary. Manage
departmental budgets and ensure the efficient use of resources.
Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills Proficient in nursing operations and
patient care management Ability to manage multiple tasks and
prioritize effectively In-depth knowledge of health care policies,
regulations, and best practices Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
BLS/ACLS certification. Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML)
credential preferred.
