working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in
Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87106! Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of
experience required. License: Pending licenses accepted.
Certifications: ACLS & BLS required. Must-Have: - COVID vaccination
required; religious and medical exemptions accepted with completion
of exemption form. - Must be willing to float to other ICUs, PCU
floors, ED, and PACU to care for admitted patients. - Flu vaccine
required; medical and religious exemptions only. Description: No
locals within a 75-mile radius. May be floated to other areas to
meet facility needs. Patient ratios are 1:2. Weekend coverage is
required as needed. Special requirements include post-operative
open hearts, bedside procedures, CRRT, ECMO, IABP, and more.
Patient diagnoses include CABG, aortic aneurysm repair, pulmonary
embolism, cardiac arrest, and heart failure. The unit provides care
for adults and geriatrics. The facility is a Level I Trauma,
teaching hospital with a focus on short-term acute care. Staffed
beds in the unit total 12. Interdisciplinary support includes IV
teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more. Daily
census and patient visit details vary. Continuous education and
training are required throughout the assignment. Modules may be
billable up to a certain limit during orientation and annually. 5
