Primary Care Physician Role: Primary Care Physician (Family
Medicine / Internal Medicine / Med Peds) Primary Worksite Name:
Santa Fe Indian Health Center Primary Worksite City: Santa Fe
Primary Worksite State: New Mexico Worksite Type: Government,
Indian Health care Work Schedule: 8 AM - 4:30 PM on most days (1 in
6 weekdays long shift 11:30 hrs shift) (In a month, average 1.5
weekend days and 3.5 long shifts). Physicians can take more long
shifts if they want to. 4 Clinics - Primarily work at 1 clinic
(Santa Fe IHC open all days of week 8am - 7:30pm) and rotate to 2-3
other clinics (8a-4:30p which are 30 min away). Walk in clinic is
11:30 hrs open daily (8am-7:30pm). Not an urgent care. 30 mins
follow up visit and 1 hour for new visits. Requirements to apply:
U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Holder Current CV with all gaps
explained Board Certification Requirements: BE / BC in FM/IM/Med
Peds (Must be comfortable seeing kids) NO OB. License: Any state
license works. New grads welcome. Certification: BLS is needed
(recommended ACLS and PALS - can do it after starting job). Patient
Information: Average census in 8 hrs shift - 14 patients per day
(Range 12-16). Average census in 11:30 hrs (8am - 7:30 pm) shift -
20 patients per day. Serving 100% Native American population.
