This role is ideal for a technologist experienced in computed tomography who is committed to delivering high quality patient care in a fast paced environment. In addition to CT responsibilities, this position includes performing general diagnostic radiography, offering the opportunity to work as a multimodality technologist, and maintain a well-rounded, versatile skillset. How you grow, learn and thrive matters here. • Educational and career development options, including tuition and certification reimbursement, scholarship opportunities • Staff Safety (a wearable badge that allows nurses to quickly and discreetly call for help when safety is a concern) • Differentials for night/weekend shifts, higher education, certifications and various lead roles (for eligible positions) • Malpractice liability insurance • Loan forgiveness through the New Mexico Higher Education Department • EPIC electronic charting system Type of Opportunity: Full time FTE: 0.90 Job Exempt: No Work Shift: 12 Hour Days (United States of America) Responsibilities: - Perform high?quality CT examinations, including routine CT studies and angiogram examinaitons. - Perform general radiography exams, maintaining competency in both CT and X?ray. - Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning throughout all imaging procedures. - Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked imaging environment. - Evaluate images for appropriate technical quality, accuracy, and completeness. - Operate CT scanners, radiography equipment, and related technologies safely and effectively. - Manage patient workflow efficiently, including transporting patients when necessary. - Collaborate with providers to support accurate diagnosis and optimized patient care. - Engage in ongoing professional development by working at the top of your scope. Qualifications: ARRT is required Must have a NM Computed Tomography License (NMCT) or NM Computed Tomography Provisional License (NMPCT) Current BLS is required We're all about well-being, starting with yours.
